🎨 How to Use PixelThunder — Step by Step ⚡
Follow this guide to create a professional YouTube thumbnail or edit any image.
Each step uses a specific tool in the exact order it should be used.
🟡 STEP 1 — Import Your Images 🖼️
Drag and drop one or more images into the canvas, or click “+ Image” in the top bar. Each image is added as a new layer in the Layers panel on the right.
You can stack multiple images on top of each other — for example a background photo, a second photo, and a PNG of a person.
Tool used: Layers panel → + Image.
🟣 STEP 2 — Arrange Layers and Create a Split Composition 🎭
Use the Layers panel to reorder, rename, duplicate or delete layers.
To create a split-screen composition (image on the left, image on the right), select a layer and click “Split canvas (50/50)” or “Split preview” to automatically clone the image into the other half.
Then drag a PNG of a person or object on top.
Tool used: Layers → Split canvas / Split preview.
🟪 STEP 3 — Crop or Create a Clipping Mask ✂️
Use the Mask tool to crop the composition, or use the Scissors tool to cut out specific areas of an image.
For automatic subject isolation, click “Remove Background” to strip the background color instantly based on the corner pixel (adjust tolerance for better results).
This is perfect for cutting out people or products.

🟡 STEP 4 — Enhance the Photo with Camera Raw Adjustments 📸
Select an image layer and open the Adjust tab. Fine-tune your image with:
🌟 Exposure — brighten or darken the whole image
🌟 Contrast — make darks darker and lights lighter
🌟 Highlights and Shadows — recover blown-out or dark areas
🌟 Whites and Blacks — fine-tune the tonal range
🌟 Clarity and Texture — add crispness and definition
🌟 Saturation and Temperature — control the color mood
Click “Apply adjustments” to bake the changes into the layer.

🟣 STEP 5 — Add Text to the Canvas 🔤
Go to the Text tab, type your title in the input field, choose a font (Bebas Neue, Anton, Orbitron, Inter, and more), adjust the size, weight and letter spacing, then click “Add text to canvas”.
You can add as many text layers as you need.

🟪 STEP 6 — Apply a Gradient to the Text 🌈
With the text layer selected, open the Text Gradient dropdown and choose Linear Horizontal, Linear Vertical, Diagonal, or Radial.
Pick two colors using the swatches — for example yellow to magenta — and watch the gradient apply live to your text. Use the built-in preset “YOUTUBE TITLE” for instant viral thumbnail text.

🟡 STEP 7 — Add a Drop Shadow or Outline to the Text 🌑
Still in the Text tab, use the Shadow Blur slider to add a soft drop shadow behind your text so it pops against any background. For a stronger effect, increase the blur value or duplicate the text layer and offset it slightly. This is essential for readable thumbnails on busy backgrounds.

🟣 STEP 8 — Final Composition and Alignment 🎯
Use the Move tool (V) to drag layers into position.
Click “Center active layer” to perfectly center a layer, or “Fit layer to canvas” to make an image fill the canvas while keeping proportions.
Zoom in and out with the zoom bar at the bottom to check details.

Click “⬇ Export” in the top-right corner to download your final image as a high-quality PNG.
